How do I get my cd's out of my 2002 Outback 6 cd player. It used to work, now it doesn't. We tried disconnecting battery to reboot system. Don't want to take dash apart.
2002 Subaru Outback multi CD, cd's stuck. we tried the eject button, doesn't work. When turning on car it sounds like cd's are moving around, they don't play either. We don't really want to take dash apart if we don't need to.
Unless you are absolutely in love with the original radio, I would definitely recommend going to a stereo shop where they can get the CDMA out of your unit pretty fast and show you how easily it is to upgrade your system without disturbing the dash. By the time your car is 15 years old it probably needs new speakers as well. You can even get an integrated blue tooth system for hands free calling to pair with your cell phone through the new radio.
By the way, you're going to love your new sound system and integrated features and it's less than buying a new car.
