My stero reception is horrible. Any solutions?

Question type: Car Customization

I live an hour between Philly and NYC so I think the stereo is struggling to get reception.  Can you put aftermarket stereo in car.  Stereo console is integrated with temp control.  Not sure how you could replace the stereo in this case.

You might be able to add a signal booster to your existing (or aftermarket) stereo system. This might increase reception to an acceptable level.

there are covers that you can get online or at a store like best buy that allow you to put an after market stereo in your car. If you don't know what your doing i would take it to a store and pay them to do it. they cost 10-50 dollars. My stereo would randomly cut out. I replaced my stereo. i had a friend do it. if you are not so lucky to have a friend take it to the store. You'll pay a lot of money. but doing it yourself when you don't know what your doing sucks

www.crutchfield.com Everything they have its quality shit, put in your car and it'll tell you what fits and they'll send you specific instructions for installing the reciever in your car.
