Question type: Maintenance & Repair

after it heats up it starts gettng towards the red on the gauge. If I turn on the hearer full it comes down a little but stays hot. When I go up a hill it really starts getting hot.
Any help on a fix would be great, thanks.

either your cooling system has a problem so try a radiator flush, maybe a bad thermostat, your electric fans could have stoped working, or it could be the water pump.

Check your radiator temp threw out went warm. Radiator most likely plugged

My 96 did this I had the knock sensor replaced, it quit getting hot and had more pep.
