First, its gas not fluid as refrigerant, if that is what you are asking.The chart at : www.ariazone.com/brochures/Refrigerant%20Capacity%20Guide.pdf is a file that I downloaded and had to access with Adobe Reader and the chart only goes back to 1994. But the weight of the R12 gas that is uses is somewhere between 450 and 600 grams. 16 to 21oz. R12 is very difficult to find, if even possible..but your system can be converted to R 134
