The frame that extense out behined the two front wheels is about rusted through on my 95 Pontic Trans Sport. What can I do? It only has 90000 miles and has a 3800 in good shape.

If u have no shop experiance i would go to one i had the same probkem i just went back to the good metal and boxed it in with3/8 steal plate by welding it then drilled any holes out.

thats right weld is the only way no pop it or cover with tar, tain;t nothing that cant be rewelded with a lot of prep. and time for safety sake.

Also their is a special paint that slows down rust it is costly but worth it u can buy it at any automotive paint store

Thanks Rodney!!!! I thought a steal plate could be welded in. It's a good running Van and the Interiour is like new. I really like the fiberglass body.Thanks again
