Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2004 grand prix gtp driver side window would go
up if i did not put it all the way down and quickly
pushed the toggle up. Well i got it all the way down
and now it is stuck. Can i switch the plugs to get it
up?

After not being able to get wires out of plastic casing to switch them i put plug back together the way it was and plug it back in. I stuck my foot in the door under the glass so i could try and pry window up while hitting the toggle switch. After hitting down and up several times my window finally went up? It felt likt something was blocking it but I could not see anything. Have any sugestions?

Sounds like you need a new window regulator or the electric motor on the regulator (most likely) They are not terribly expensive and are easy to replace. You will have the option of buying just the regulator or the regulator with the electric motor included. Buy the second one. Any parts store will be able to order this part in for you in a couple of days or less.
