Car won't start after cold start unless i touch the gas

Why does my 04 G Prix don't start after first
start unless I give it gas? First start of the
day no problem, or after about 6-8 hours of
sitting off at work.

Have it scanned for trouble codes and check the fuel pressure. You'll probably find some clues there.
