I have a 2004 Pontiac grand Prix gt1 w/ 181k miles and was curious if a 2005 grand Prix tranny would work in my 04

It should. Check the tags on both trannys to be sure. HTH. -Jim

it should work just makes sure they both have the same transmission bolt pattern on the pan
