Car wont start
I changed the fuel pump filrer fuel pump regulater and tune
up on my 01 grand prix a week ago. Driving to wrk today my
car started chugging like i was running low on gas but i got
a full tank. Car shut off and now unaable to get it to restart
You need to isolate the problem. Test fuel pressure. If fuel pressure is above 25psi, ur problem is not gas related.Check spark at the plugs if spark is normal, test to see if it's sparking on time, when piston is TDC or do a compression test to check if the timing is ok.
I have spark it did this a week ago cahnge out everything fuel related and it stopped now its doing it again
Check the plug connector at the pump on top of fuel tank, I had one that wires were corroded and was doing it intermittently
That wut i was thinking. Disconected everything car runs off brake cleaner so im thinking it is a faulty fuel pump
Well, it fuel related, now u gotta check voltage to the pump befire u replace it. If there's voltage at the pump and it doesn't work, then it's the pump or strainer on the pump, assuming there's fuel in the tank lol
Ok ty ill try that
