has the fuel filter been replaced????

Yes sir... And I bypassed the fuel receptor and it did the same thing. I'm thinking it the fuel pump but I'd like to exhaust all options before buying the $250 part haha

Try cleaning the throttle and the idle air control valve or mass air flow sensor depending on which one your vehicle has clean with spray throttle body cleaner. Also would not hurt to check and replace air filter if necessary.
