Is it a emissions line?

It will need replacing, I don't know specifically if it is a vent line or fuel. So yes, you will need to drop the tank and see where it connects on the other end.

That is the vapor line going to the engine for the EVAP system. Note the letters on the other two connections. F=Fuel and R=Return. The fuel line is the gasoline supply line going to the engine. The return line is for excess gasoline returning from the fuel rail back to the tank. This is done to keep the fuel cool and prevent vapor lock. The EVAP line must be securely repaired with fuel vapor line. Regular rubber gas line will quickly deteriorate from the fuel vapors going through it. If you start having the service engine soon light come on with an EVAP code that's where the problem will be. The computer can detect an EVAP leak so small the naked eye can't always see it. So be sure to repair the line very well!! Hope that helps! Jim
