2000 Grand Prix Gt Cel doesnt work
On my 2000 grand prix i realized that the
check engine light does not work. Does
anyone know how to fix this?
It's most likely a burned out bulb. You understand that the "service engine soon" light is the same as the check engine light on newer models? If the service engine soon light doesn't come on scan the computer for trouble codes. Most auto parts stores will do it for free. If there's codes in there the bulb is burned out from being on for a long time. You'll have to replace the instrument cluster. The bulb is not replaceable separately. HTH. -Jim
