99 grand prix gtp no start
The car has fuel and spark it acts like it wants to
start but just won't can't figure out whats going on
What does the spark look like? If it is a white, blueish in color, then it is a good spark. If it is a yellow, orange in color, then it is a weak spark. Either the Ignition Control Module, or the coil may be bad. These can be tested at Auto Zone.
It has white blueish spark it's very good and strong spark
Good morning...Ok, this is good. May need to check fuel pressure. First try and spay some starting fluid down the throttle body and see if it fires off right away, then hopefully she'll die after it is burnt up.
Tried that it wants to start but still won't
Ok, then it may be in the intake manifold gaskets. I can't remember which years, but there was an issue with the intake leaking. Maybe just try and snug up the intake bolts. But also may need to do a fuel bleed down test to check for leaky injectors.
Just changed the fuel regulator that didnt change anything just makes me really stumped it just shut off and won't start now
There is a good spark, fuel, so this has to be a vacuum leak somewhere. Check the throttle body gasket, look for bad vacuum lines, and snug up the intake manifold.
I checked all the vacuum lines there all good
