Where is under hood light located?

Might not have one. I'm not familiar with the Grand Prix's. If it did, it would be located on the underside of the hood. You would see a socket for it, if the bulb is gone.

If light bulb or socket where bulb plugs in is not visible when you open the hood somewhere in the center, it doesn't have one

You don't have one. Unless, of course, someone added an aftermarket light later. But originally your car didn't have one. HTH. -Jim
