My car won't start just clicks twice

My 01 grand am 3.4 no crank no start just clicks twice anyone know what could be wrong. Clicks
at starter or solenoid area

Or bad alternator. Check your battery voltage (should be 12-14 V) and try jump starting the car. If it starts, your alternator is not charging your battery (or your battery is not accepting the alternator's charge. Also clean any corrosion from the battery cables.

Could be electrical, try turning it to acc for exactly 10 min- the security light will blink during the 10 min on dash—after 10 min it stops blinking— you then turn it off and try to start it
