Car won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After running around and getting the engine hot if I
shut the car off it will not start back up until it
cools down for an hour or two.

Go to auto zone and get the battery tested, it might not be holding a charge, if thats not the issue, check alternator and starter to make sure they're working right

Thanks fir the reply just changed yesterday hope this solves the problem

Mike we are having the same problem. Code reader said it was the cam shaft sensor, replaced that and we still have the same problem. The battery or alternator don't sound like the issue to me, not sure why it only happens when the motor is warm. But please post if that is what fixed your problem.
