I have a 2002 Spyder that was stored in my garage for the winter. We tried to push it out of the garage because it needs a jump and the car won't move. It's stuck. Why?

If you garage wasn't heated and exposed to the elements, your brake shoes or pads are probably rusted to the rotors or drums.

I agree with Tom. My wife's 2003 spyder does the same when parked for a week or two specially in damp weather. They typically free up when you start to drive the car. Might want to jack car up and see which one or ones are locked up. Hers is normally the front disks. The pads seize to the rotors.

My 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GT (6 c) has the check engine light on. I took it to Meineke and they said it's the 401 code for the exhaust. They changed some small part but the light came back on again. Then they said it's the EGR valve so they change that as well to no effect. I took the car there a third time and they checked the exhaust system for leaks and made some more readjustments. The light came back on again. Now they say they have no idea what it might be. I just bought a 01 mitsubishi eclipse spyder gt and the radio said code, I contacted mitsubishi and got my code but every time I get in my car I have to enter the code. Anyone know why this happens? 1 answer
The dealership put a new battery in everything's hooked up correctly, no lose wires, that I've found anyways.
