For 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis LS: Driver's seat lumbar motor runs, but does not does not inflate;
Driver's seat lumbar inflation motor runs, but lumbar bag does not inflate. Cannot see
anything by looking under the seat. Must seat be removed? If so, how and then what?
The bag is probably ripped or has a hole in it. I'm assuming you would need to remove the seat and take it apart. A local auto upholster could fix it for you. Cheaper if you remove the seat and drop it off.
I agree with Tom on this one, but sometimes the vent valve gets some stuff in it and holds the valve open so the air bladder won't fill, but there again an upholster can verify the problem.
you can access it by removing the back portion of the seat while the seat is in the vehicle.
