Can unlock my door from key pad

1 Answer

These do wear out or crack then get water inside and that makes then nonoperational, so if there is water in it then you need a new one for sure, you could try resetting your code, sometimes they do loose customers presets but the factory setting should work even if the customer presets are lost. Try this: make sure you have the keys in your hand and 1 window is down, push the 7/8 9/0 buttons at the same time, wait at least 30 seconds then use the factory code, that should unlock the drivers door then push the 3/4 button, that should unlock the passenger door and on some models the rear door also, the 5/6 will either open the rear doors or the trunk, and the final set of 7/8 will either be unused or it will open just the trunk. If none of that works then replace the keypad and retest.
