If trunk release is cable operated then dig deeper for broke cable end may be in or under car in a protective channel or casing and pull it or use vise-grips to pull cable, if its electrical then open the button up and find the correct wires to contact together with jumper wires or find the fuse that runs it and replace if bad or install a new switch.

I'm a girl and I'm not sure what to do.. I will check fuse in the morning.. I tried to pull back seat but I didn't want to break it and I'm not sure it folds down

If the trunk is operated by power if the key is in ignition switch you can pull the trunk release switch and run a small wire from the positive side of battery to the positive side of trunk release switch ( on the back side is the connector you put the other end of wire in one side until you find the positive wire and do not touch the metal part of car battery with that wire as it can ark and blow a fuse. Check in glove box for a trunk release too.

I think you need to pull that trunk button out if the fuses are good and run a jumper wire from the battery (+ positive side) (do not touch any metal parts along the way to switch) to the back side of it where the connector plugs in and probe the different places where the wires go into back side of the connecting connector to see which one is positive it should open the trunk unless there is some issue between the switch button and the trunk release in the trunk. If fuse is good go ahead and pull the trunk release button, if it works or did once work with key not in ignition switch you can use a short jumper wire to find the always hot wire then place other end in the each other slot all while button is still attached to the wire harness to find the power on for the button which will unlock trunk otherwise if key does need to be in switch then the longer jumper wire need to be used from battery and same as above said.

Any small wire will work, like speaker wire, ect. need to be insulated or kept off the metal of car or other metal objects if not insulated and it would be o.k. to touch, and no harm from shock or grounding out and blowing fuses if kept off metal other than the metal inside the connector back side while probing, and if you have any other 12v power source you can use it too. May watch some youtube video's to see if anybody show this. If no key is needed to usually to open trunk with button a simple paper clip will work fine to use a jumper wire.
