loosing prime

Asked by Jan 11, 2015 at 08:02 AM about the 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis 4 Dr GS Sedan

starts but acts like it looses prime in between starts runs great no power problems gets up and goes stalls every now and then sometimes it wont crank back after shout down wait a little while cranks like it has no problem no check engine lights come on.
