dont get any heat could it be the heater valve

all depends on how long the car has been running. It's cold and it WILL take a little while for that block to warm up!! of course you have to have sufficient coolant in the system for the water pump to circulate around. Second, if your heater core is plugged and has not been flushed it will not work for you. Gotta stay atop of general maint issues. And that is a Ford product, shouldn't be too expensive. Jeep is the worse
