code 22 ok, it turns out "blink code" 22 refers to a short in the wiring to the driver's side seat airbag. The 8-way power seating is crunching the wires that lead up to the airbag self. see if this helps

Before working on the airbag system, disconnect the negative (-) battery cable and wait 5 minutes for the system to discharge. The airbag system maintains a power reserve so that if the electrical system is disabled in a collision the airbags will still deploy. HTH. -Jim
