My lexus ls 400 (1994) check engine light is on and itried driving it and it would go then hesitate then go on and on then i pulled over then tried to go again and it wouldnt go i put it in second on it would go then studder then go then studder then go. Ive taken it to two shops and neither can retrieve any codes my exhaust are black with soot and smoke comes out of there also they say " needs new ecu" oh and there was a popping noise when restarted
