Since your check engine light is on, there is a problem. A fuel filter wouldn't trip the light, neither the antenna motor or a A/C Recharge i'm surprised that two shops couldn't pull a code, when they can't do that, they repalce the ECU or main computer of your vehicle. Are one of those shops a Lexus dealer? If not they may be able to help, and or try another shop before replacing the ECU.
