99 grand cherokee loraedo wont start after changing transmission. what is wrong with it?

i have a 99 grand cherokee with 4.0 and 42re trans that just completely stopped
working. i replaced the trans myself and while taking old one out i forgot to unplug
camshaft position sensor and broke the plug. i cut the plug off and connected the wires
but it will not even try to start, just turns and turns. it ran great before i changed trans,
sombody please help were a family of four that dont have any extra money to waste
and this jeep is our only means of transportation. thanks for any help.

those wires may be connected wrong at the plug, look at the color coding, if not that check the sensor itself, it may have shifted or broke,they work by a hall effect, magnetic end, sensing a steel lug passing during rotation by a precise gap between both. Sending signal to pcm telling position

thanks for your help. i connected the wires by color, and the sensor i have now came on the trans i replaced, but im going to check it anyhow i hope thats all it is. thanks again i need all the help i can get! lol

Ok so I am having the same problem with my 93. I changed the coil. But there's still no spark. Where would I look next
