are you sure you haven't put the tdc on the bottom instead of the top? Are you hearing the laboring of the compression taxing the startermotor?

triple check, hopefully this is not an interference situation..will check~ If you've the dual overhead cam, then yes must be correct the first time, easy cheezy with the holes for the pin punches, but if not then belt, think the DOHC has a chain~ so the round things all have marks, look at the guide for stickin' them in the correct orientation..triple check~

I even replaced the map sensor. It had 3 codes and I replaced all three and it still won't start. Check engine light comes on and blinks 10times but shows no codes.

Not start even if I put starting fluid won't start. Will I get fire if the crank sensor is out. I was told no I wouldn't have spark

Same problem here, check engine light never came on until it completely died. With an error code p0113, changed the sensor, still won't start. It has a new battery and timing belt already. It just randomly decided not to start anymore. It cranks only. It reminds me of a kill switch but a PT cruiser does not have one. I am wondering if the key didn't send the right code to the computer causing the immobilizer to activate. But it's not starting and dying it is just cranking over. Ugh frustrating
