What could be the possible cause of both rear side window motors failing? Windows are stuck in the open position

Both side rear window motors fail to operate. Windows are stuck in the open
position. Motors cannot be rotated manually. Other than removing interion
panels and removing the motors themselves I dont know what to do.

Check fuse#5 20amp in the interior fuse panel, it feeds the switch directly. If the backlighting in the switch is on that would indicate that the other power circuit to the panel is okay.
