Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello, I have a 93 TBird 5.0L and my check engin light comes on only when I drive. Never come on when im in park
I wanna say it comes on faster when I'm light on the gas. But when I jump rite o. The freeway some time it takes a
longer time. And when it gets really warm the light will not come on at all. Now I was wondering can I do an EEC test
after the car has been drivin? Thanks for any suggestions

Yes, you can check the codes anytime. they are stored in memory. You can check for the hard codes while the engine is off and parked, and you can also check the codes while the engine is running. Here is some help, this is for a mustang but the same procedure on your T-Bird...http://www.muscularmustangs.com/test1.php
