I have the exact same vehicle. Your problem is with the blend door actuator. It s a motor made of plastic, the small plastic gear inside breaks and makes a clicking noise. The part is about the size and shape of a cigarette pack, only thinner. It cost about 50 bucks. Unfortunately the dashboard has to come out of the vehicle to repair it. Dealership charges about 600 bucks. The actuator is located around the toe of your foot if it was on the gas, under the console and up inside. Check the net, there is a workaround involving a wire-tie and fitting a small hand through the glove box to attach the tie to the lever and manually pulling on it each time the vehicle is started and heat is desired. The blend door returns to the "cool" setting when the key is turned off.
