was driving 60mph on the way to work this morning and my AdvancTrac On light kept coming on after about the 3rd time my brake light and ABS light started blinking at the same time as the AdvancTrac On light. It did this about 6 times and shut off. I had my lower ball joints replaced last weekend and the brakes have felt very hard almost like when bleeding the brakes and the pedal will not go down further, then all of the sudden it goes down very slow to the floor. Plenty of meat on the brake pads. Any ideas?

WOW hard petal --is almost always a brake booster -the round thing that master cylinder bolts to.....BUT a petal that goes to floor ---- without brake fluid porining onto ground -- - would almost always be a master cylinder .......it sounds to me like the person who did the ball joints did not open bleeders on front calipers when colapsing them --causing brake fluid to forced back into mastercylider --- this WILL mess up ABS & can cause damage to master cylider plunger-rubber.... master cylinder should solve petal to the floor --- back too hard petal --check --listen for hissing under dash & around brake booster ..... if you hear hissing -you also have a vacume leak in booster or vacume hose to booster -- for your safty & others on the road,,, take it to a mechanic
