Was driving my car home from dinner with no problems. I get home
and park the car and shut off the car to go inside, I notice the
dome lights don't come on so I try starting the car again and
nothing happens. There's no power at all to the car...lights
don't work, power locks don't work, nothing happens AT ALL.
Sounds like a dead battery or bad battery cable connection. I'd suggest checking the battery cable connections. Make sure everything is clean and tight. If that is good, have the battery load tested. HTH. -Jim
Is it even possible for that to happen after driving it all day with no problems
Yes. I once drove home from Atlantic City, a 90 mile trip one way. Shut off the car and 30 minutes later went to go to the store and the car wouldn't start. That fast the battery was stone cold dead. Wouldn't even operate the power door locks! HTH. -Jim
