How do I know which spark plugs to choose when
replacing them and have multiple choices to

I would go with Motorcraft double platinum plugs.

I just went through this 2 weeks ago. Please watch the ends of the spark plugs. I bought from a local store a set for 100.00 I opened one and the firing /spark end has a piece that's been placed on as a splice. It's not a full one unit plug. I had bought Ford plugs off Amazon and they were 53.00 for 8 and these are 1 full Metal piece. I took the others back where purchased. Told the service man,why are these a metal pieced plug? They have no answer. Make sure you get the ones that are ford not autolite. You will burn them up. One very important item menu miss. Use copper anti seize on the plugs don't go to the ends next to the spark but get close.threads get a light coat too. When you put the coils back on. Put fresh electronic gel. Buy the tiny pack for 8 plugs..you'll have plenty to go around. Good luck.

F-O-R. I just used factory Motorcraft and they are fine. Sure makes a difference when all parts are working together..
