my 2003 expidition is having over heating problembs.
i have replaced the thermostat, and it seems to be working propperly, there is no oil in the coolant, and no sighn of coolant in the oil does not smoke or run like it has a problemb but after 15 miles it starts to overheat and the pressure in the coolant tank seems extreamly high. what other problemb could there be.
Possibly water pump failing, collapsing hoses, stopped up radiator, bad rad cap, low coolant, air trapped in cooling system and or bad fan. Just to start with. I would suspect water pump if it has never been replaced. Inspect it. Is there any sign of coolant around the weep hole? If so replace water pump.
