Best Brand for exhaust mods

I'm completely redoing my exhaust system on my 2005 Vic. I want a deep, American Muscle sound. I'm not specifically looking for a system that will increase HP a lot but if thats a bi-product then I'm cool with it. Does anyone have suggestions on brands for headers, and catalyic converters? I'm buying Flowmaster Series 40 mufflers, so should I just go Flowmaster with everything else?

flowmaster=chokemaster but if youre only going for sound it will do the trick. magnaflow is better though imo.
I have a 97 Vic and want to switch to dual exhaust from a single pipe, A muffler shop has told me that it is definitely do-able but the bend to get over the rear axle is extreme and will dramatically reduce horsepower by as much as 40 HP. I find this hard to believe, especially since police cruisers and certain upgraded CVs and Grand Marquis came stock with dual exhaust. Any thoughts on what the muffler shop told me? Thanks!!
