I have a 2006 Ford Mustang V6 Convertible. My furthest left turn signal doesn't work, and
lately my check charging systems light(battery light) is flashing on. If i drive the car to
long, it'll completely die on me during the middle of driving. I'm guessing its the Smart
Junction box because I've recently had water leak into the car from the passenger side.
When the battery light comes on it means there is something wrong with the charging system most of the time it's the alternator.
As far as the signal light maybe a bad bulb or light socket or bad wiring connection to socket.
check youtube to see how to check your alternator. sounds like the problem here.
Have charging system tested should be charging at 14 volts.
It's a new alternator and battery
Ok it's new but is it charging at 14 volts ?
If water was getting into junction box may have blown your alternator fuse.
So when I rev the engine, after 3500 rpm the light will turn off. I havnt checked the charging yet. But I will
If you rev it up and it goes out then comes back on when you let it idle I would say more then likely it's the alternator fuse.
Found out , im not getting power from the alt at all. im going to go have it replaced again. any idea why i keeps burning out on me
