Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What would cause brake pressure on the pedal to
be reversed?

Installed all new lines. Filled it up with fluid. When I applied the brakes to bleed the lines, there was no pressure except when releasing the pedal. Had to physically pull the pedal out. My guess is too much air in the lines. But not sure how get it out. My blenders are junk so had to release the rubber line to caliper to try and get rid of air.

Try this. loosen all the brake lines where they go into wheel cylinders and calipers keep adding fluid to the reservoir wait for gravity to do its job the fluid will slowly drip out you can speed this up by jacking the front then the rear, without bleeders I don't think you'll ever get all he air out, did you try to heat them? If not do that and if they come loose leave brake lines tight and gravity bleed through bleeders. I hope this helps you

Don't get air into the ABS pump or you will have to take it to a dealer for bleeding.

Yes. That's what I have been doing. But ran out of fluid after 3 jugs. Lol. Thanks fellas. I'm afraid I may have got air into the abs like F-O-R said. I think 1 caliper is bad so tomorrow I'm buying all new. Brakes and rotors too.

The snap-on scanner our shop had would bleed abs when combined with a power bleeder. Just sayin. I worked for the City and they could afford the Six grand the scanner cost
