Why do I have no responce between the gas peddle and the throttle body?
I replaced my fuel pump due to it rusting out and leaking. Since then it wants
to die at idle. I disconnected the throttle sensor during idle and it died. Since
then it will start but dies and I replaced the throttle sensor also. I can push the
peddle down but it does not open the butter fly nor change fuel delivery. what
do I do?
This could be a number of things, so checking out some things would be in order. First I don't see how the butter fly doesn't open when pushing on the throttle. Is the cable hooked up? Is it the Throttle Positioning Sensor that you replaced, and is it hooked up?
Oh I see here, need to know what size engine is in there. The 4.8L or the 5.3L. They don't have a throttle cable.
