won't start - replaced plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor. ~!@#$%^&*

Are you sure the timing is off have you checked to see if spark is the problem? I mean if you replaced everything else already, I'd hope you had and figured out it was a spark problem in which case timing the engine won't help abit. So... Make sure you are getting power to and from the coil. for starters. If you are getting spark and still no joy, consult a repair guide for proper ignition timing procedure on your vehicle. Hope this helps... FYI be very careful whit power out of the coil, that's where the voltage is stepped up.
