Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It seems to be pulling off in 2nd gear kind of
slugish at first once it picks up a little speed the
power comes.. Then it shifts into 3rd gear normally
I think, but when it comes time to shift into 4th, it
shifts really soft like it's going into 4th, but seems
to still be in 3rd. I've try manually shifting but even
in 1st it feela like 2nd , and it still doesn't go into
4th. This is my only means of transportation guys
please help..

A common problem is the electric shift solenoids or even the solenoid shuttle in the valve body. Not sure how the maintenance has been on the transmission or mileage, but it could be getting hung up. Are you getting a DTC ore SES light when this happens? Fluid condition / dirty filters can be an issue with pump pressure. We had a similar condition in a suburban. We replaced the valve body (casing only - re used our internal components), with new solenoids & filter. Fixed our issue for around 300.00.

Before this happen, sometime after Ive been driving it a while and I say for example stop at a store and leave it running, when I pull off it'll take a while to change into every gear. I would have to ease off the gas a little then it would Chang. Are if I keep applying the gas it'll eventually change. But if I shut it off and let it sit a minute. It'll go back to shifting normal again.. Does that sound like a dirty fluid warning to you? Or bad solenoid's?. And I'm at about 250k and I'm well over due for a trans tune up

Stupid question, do you have the tow/hual mode on the shifter? With that many miles, sometimes a service (fluid flush) is not recommended, especially if it hasn't been done regularly. With you backing of gas and it shifts, sounds like a sticking solenoid/poppet or a front pump getting weak. I'd guess anything you do, you got a 50/50 chance of it failing shortly after attempting the repair. Have a back up plan for a used low mileage trans or to send for a full overhaul at a shop (unless you or someone you know can - rebuild kits can run 300 and up).
