headlights don't work

the person I bought my 93 chevy lumina apv  from, touched jumper cables together, and now headlights don't work. how do I fix this?

Both headlights were working fine. stopped and turned off engine. came back to car, turned on engine turned on headlights, neither one turned on. High beams worked, left fog light worked. I assumed blown fuse?
