1994 mustang anti theift disable

im working on a 1994 ford mustang. the head have been redone. there no spark. the key is not orginal and there is no remote. the anti theft light flash once and then stays lit when the key is on. it is also a v6 automatic
i ran a obd2 tester and no codes came up.

ive had this happen before... and its kinda random i know... disconnect the battery for a bit then hook it back up again... occasionally the imobolizer kicks in just for fun... I havent heard of it happening on a V6 auto before though... its more common on the GT cars from 1996+ If that doesnt work can you tell me if your key is coded??? (coded keys are bigger and have a little lightning bolt on the key...) anyways GL...

i did disconnent the battery. did not change any thing. the key is a remake one of my coworker tryed to turn on the fan with a code reader/tester and it smoked the coil pack. it has dis inigion sysem in it.

It sounds like the ignition itself is the problem could be you blew something else internal and the diagnostic computer can't tell you what it is because it wasn't programmed for a problem like that check out new ignition systems with and without the imobilizer and find one that might work but run that by a Certified Ford technitian and see what they say...

You need to use a OBD1 tester on 1994 Muastang if I am not mistaken.
