THERE IS VARIOUS REASONS WHY THIS COULD HAPPEN TWO OF THEM COULD BE THE GAS PUMP OR THE THROLER POSITION SENSOR

Under the hood is a black box holding all the relays (including the fuel pump relay). They have a tendency to have bad contacts on the ground connections for each relay plus the main ground connection for the box. I have had this happen (at 65 miles an hour), but fixed the problem and doesn't happen anymore.
