Engine check light goes off the car does not start

I would like to know if its the whole car need rewiring, i
would like to know where to start the engine check
light goes off and the car wont start and till the check
light comes back on some i have to wait for a day of
two what do you think.

When you can get it going and there's a check engine light, have a OBD hooked up and see what the engine codes are
