You need for safety, ramps to raise the car so you can craw underneath. Put floor jackstays under it for added safety. (Cars that fall on the people that are working on them is not a pretty site.} block the rear tires or if you can put it on a hoist, best bet yet. You may have to remove or loosen the left exhaust manifold, maybe not. First ten disconnect the battery cable, then the cable on the solenoid. there should be two or three bolts holding the starter to the engine. Remove these and pull the starter out. Make sure all the wires are disconnected and marked. If there are any shims behind the starter keep these as you may need them to make a good alignment to the flywheel. Take the new starter and reverse the procedure. Button everything up and connect the battery. Try the starter. If it works, great. One more time, go under and make sure everything is tight, correct and secure. When done, wash the car. Good luck and enjoy. do look at the u-tube above first.
