1984 corvette will not start
Does the motor turn over trying to start
If you have fuel and spark but it still won't run do a compression test. If the compression is very low or zero on all cylinders, it's jumped timing. Also check the ignition timing while cranking with a timing light. Or remove the distributor cap and when the rotor is lined up with the #1 tower position of the distributor cap remove the spark plug from the #1 cylinder. Put a long, large, screwdriver in the spark plug hole. The piston should be at the top of the cylinder. So the screwdriver won't go in very far. If the ignition timing is good, check the valve timing with the compression test. HTH. -Jim
