Is there such a thing as a 1979 trans am bandit II?? and if so who made it?, or am I being cloned here...

There was no official Bandit car however the Y84 option which was the black and gold trim package for 1979 its similar to the 1977 and 1978 package and is commonly referred to as a "Bandit." The Bandit II firebirds are a Choo Choo Customs replica using a thrid gen as a base. http://www.78ta.com/banditiiedition.php you can learn more about the Y84 special editions there too.
