Trying to remove radiator fan on 2005 Dodge Ram 1500

I can keep the serpentine belt from turning, but the water
pump still rotates with the nut. Any suggestions m

they also sell a special tool to hold the water pump. Check youtube for some videos, some use a big wrench to break the nut free, Remember it is reverse thread.

You can rent the tool to hold the water pump pulley @ O'Reilly's, then u get your money back when u return the tool.
