My 2006 hummer h3 has needed a transfer case for a couple of years but do of the cost I have not had it done. My truck broke down. I heard a popping noice and a slight grinding noice. I am all so in need of front mounts. The truck is not Drive able. It almost feels like something is rubbing in the front end. Did I blow the transmission or did the mounts brake?

I have a 2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac 4x4 4.6L V8, i drive for work a lot, the other week i am going down the highway at about 70mph and start to switch lanes ( turning slightly to the left) on a left turning curve, all of a sudden my steering whell breaks over slightly and i hear a intermitent grinding noise. When i turn back to the right the noise stops. Now tonight on my way home i am driving straight down the road and my whole truck starts to wobble extremely hard, i mean the front is moving left and the rear is moving right and going back and fourth until i turn the wheel to the left or right. I Have A 07’ Yukon SLT. And I been Having battery drainage problems lately.. it will be working Fine than one minute I while get back in it to drive and it will be Dead! Get a jump, it comes back on and be fine for weeks than one day it just dies again? Not sure what’s wrong? But what I did find out is that the owner before me had Speakers hooked up and the loose Wirer's are still running under my seats and in my truck the other end of the wiRers that ran to the speaker is just thier live wirers with nothing hooked to it? Could that possibly be why the battery is seen tobe draining and if So what could I do to fix it, or either how could I disconnect the wirers from the battery running live under my seats??? 4 Answers

I have a 2002 Hyundai Accent 1.6L. I just changed the rear drums, shoes, and all of the springs. When I move the car, I can hear a noise that sounds like a spring popping. Also, my parking brake lifts up a lot more than before, but it still works. I put all of the springs on correctly, the shoes are on the right side, and the adjuster is on correctly. I did have trouble putting on the drum and had to adjust it quite a bit. I checked the rotation of the wheel and it lagged nicely. I’m not sure what this spring noise could be or if it’s normal for new springs. If you have any ideas about what the noise could be, it would be helpful. 7 Answers

I have a 2000 Ford Contour. I ran a few errands yesterday with no issues. I did not hear any changes in how the car starts or how long it takes. I went out to my car today and it does not turn over. All lights/electricity is on, it makes the sound like its trying to turn on, but will not turn. I bought a new battery hoping that was part of it. That is not the issue, left it plugged in over night and did not drain, so it does not appear to be alternator (which was recently replaced) what else could it be?
