@001 chevy Silverado battery was removed for a few months....new battery installed and now truck seems to be in some kind of locked security mode. Someone told me it has to be brought into a shop and get recoded to deactivated the security lock is that the process?

some security systems get reset by it self yes leave the ignition key for 11 minutes, turn off and on for another 11 minutes and sure start
