i have a 2000 ford taurus and my air conditioner blows out of my defroster but not my vent s . what would cause this.

The vacuum box (just behind the knobs) that the air knobs connect to, that control (defrost or heat/heat or cool setting/ducts direction) the air direction is bad and needs replacing. The same thing has happened on my 2008 Ford Ranger.

I agree. Also if its one that is controlled by vacuum you could have a vacuum leak going to it.

is not a vacuum leak. how do you change the blender door
